What are your business hours?

We are open on Mondays to Fridays from 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs and Saturdays from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs
We are closed on Sundays and Holidays

Where do you offer tours to?

We offer group and private tours to various locations throughout Guyana. Rupununi, Kaieteur, Orinduik, Linden, Essequibo River, Mazaruni River, Georgetown City Tour, New Amsterdam, Essequibo Lakes, Indigenous Villages, Mahdia, and many others.

We can also offer experiences; such as hiking, fishing, wildlife spotting, food, culture and so much more.

What information is required to make a reservation for a tour?

We require your:
  1. Full Name
  2. Email address
  3. Mobile number
  4. The Tour you are interested in.
  5. Number of persons
  6. Date you are interested in.
For tours to Kaieteur; your accurate body weight is required.

What are your payment options?

We offer several payment options for your convenience:
  1. Cash is at Optical World, on Thomas Street, between Quamina and Church Sts
  2. . MMG payments to our Merchant Account (m432901)
  3. .Bank Transfers to Republic Bank
  4. Zelle
  5. Credit cards via MMG
  6. Western Union or Money Gram

Where is your office located?

We operate mainly online,so you can book a tour and pay from the convenience of your home.
We do accept cash payments at Optical World on Thomas Street, between Quamina and Thomas Street.

Is Touring Guyana, certified for tourism?

Yes, we are a registered business and also certified by Guyana Tourism Authority.
Our tour guides are trained for first aid, tour guiding and safety.

Payment, Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund for 1 day tours?

  • Payment for any day tour must be made at least Seven (7) days in advance.
  • If the tour agency cancels or reschedules due to weather or insufficient number of bookings, customers will receive a 100% refund or a new proposed tour date.
  • Customers must cancel or reschedule at least four (5) days prior to the tour to receive a 100% refund or select a new date.
  • Cancellations or reschedules made 3-4 days before the tour will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations or reschedules made 48 hours or less before the tour will not be refunded.
This cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policy applies uniformly to all customers. Exceptions will not be made to cancellations due to illness, medical emergencies, or bereavement. Customers are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances that may affect their ability to attend the tour.

Payment, Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund for Overnight tours?

  • Payment for any overnight tour must be made at least 1 month (50% downpayment) in advance.
  • If the tour agency cancels or reschedules due to acts of God or an insufficient number of bookings, customers will receive either a 100% refund or a new proposed tour date.
  • Customers must cancel at least 15 days before the tour start date to receive a 100% refund.
  • Cancellations made 14 to 10 days before the start date of the tour will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made 10 days or less before the start date of the tour will not be refunded.

Dispute Resolution Policy

At Touring Guyana, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience for all our customers. If you have any disputes or concerns, we aim to address them fairly, promptly, and amicably. Should you remain dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, you may contact the Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) at 219 0094 for further assistance.

Liability Waiver & Code of Conduct

I acknowledge that I have booked a tour with Touring Guyana and accept all associated risks. I release Touring Guyana, its employees, and agents from any liability for injury, loss, or property damage—whether due to accident, negligence, or other causes. I also agree to indemnify Touring Guyana against any claims resulting from my actions during the tour.

Safety & Conduct
Touring Guyana provides safety guidelines throughout the tour to ensure the well-being of all participants. Failure to follow these guidelines or engaging in behavior that puts the group at risk may result in immediate removal from the tour without a refund. Inappropriate behavior includes but is not limited to:
  • Intoxication
  • Public urination
  • Littering
  • Disruptive or unsafe actions

We kindly ask all participants to be respectful toward Touring Guyana staff, as well as the communities and villages we visit. We take great pride in offering a fun and exciting experience in the beautiful landscapes of Guyana. Your cooperation helps us maintain a positive reputation and continue providing high-quality tours.

Force Majeure
Touring Guyana is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes due to weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
